How to use this site

This microsite has been designed as an educational tool to help healthcare professionals working in the field of oncology, with a particular focus on lung cancer, to interpret genomic reports that are generated for their patients.

Below you will find example text that may be included in a DNA next-generation sequencing (NGS) genomics report. Read through each section and follow the prompts to reveal more detailed explanations about the information in each subsection, and insights into why this information is important. Watch the videos to gain insights from a clinical perspective.

Note: This tool provides a composite genomic report designed to encompass and illustrate key elements of a genomic report, for the purpose of medical education to support report interpretation. The content presented is for educational purposes only and does not constitute clinical advice, diagnostic guidance, or a substitute for clinical guidelines and professional judgment. It is not intended to be representative of any specific Genomic Laboratory Hub (GLH) or individual trust report.
